Subz: Sink or Be Sunk

Subz: Sink or Be Sunk ("Subz", "the game", "we") is a submarine combat game with an online multiplayer mode. This page explains what information the game collects, why, and who it's shared with.

Information we collect

Username. The name you choose is stored on your own device. When you play online, it's shared with the other players in your session as your visible display name — that's the only place it's shared.
Gameplay preferences. Settings such as inverted look controls are stored on your device only and are never transmitted anywhere.
Multiplayer connection data. Online play is powered by Coherence, a third-party multiplayer networking service. To operate online matches, Coherence automatically collects your player name, a session play ID, IP address, and your device's manufacturer/model and OS version. This is used to run and maintain the multiplayer service and to understand network load. See Coherence's privacy policy for full detail — we don't receive or store this data ourselves beyond what's needed to run a match.

What we don't collect

No advertising or ad tracking
No in-app purchases or payment information — the game is free with nothing to buy
No location, camera, microphone, or contacts access
No analytics or usage tracking

Sharing

We don't sell your information. The only third party involved is Coherence, solely to provide the multiplayer functionality described above. Other players in your match can see your chosen username, as is inherent to any multiplayer game.

Data retention & deletion

Data stored on your device (username, preferences) is removed when you uninstall the app. Multiplayer connection data is transient, tied to active play sessions, and governed by Coherence's own retention policy linked above.

Children's privacy

Subz is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
